Infringement
Dear Human Resources and Security,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Has the Commission sent a letter of formal notice to Belgium to signal the special situation of UK citizens working for EU institutions with special ID Cards (i.e. the fact that the residency that is built up on the basis of a special ID card does not count towards Belgian nationality). If so, would it be possible to see that letter and the response of the Belgian authorities if already received?
Yours faithfully,
Andreia
