We  refer  to  your  e-mail  of  15  July  2022  in  which  you  make  a  request  for  access  to 
documents, registered on 18 July 2022 under the above-mentioned reference number. 
You request access to documents related to  
-  all  correspondence,  including  attachments  (i.e.  any  emails,  mail  correspondence  or 
telephone  call  notes)  between  DG  ENVI,  including  Commissioner  Sinkevičius  and  his 
cabinet and/or officials, and the company Cheniere; 
-  a  list  of  all  meetings  and/or  calls  attended  by  DG  ENVI,  including  Commissioner 
Sinkevičius,  any  Cabinet  Members  and/or  official,  that  were  attended  by  Cheniere  as 
well; 
Since your request did not define a specific timeframe, we took, as the time scope of your 
request, the period from 1 January 2021 to 18 July 2022. 
As  such,  we  regret to  inform  you  that  the  Commission does  not hold  any  documents  that 
would correspond to the above description.  
As  specified  in  Article  2(3)  of  Regulation  (EC)  No  1049/2001,  the  right  of  access  as 
defined  in  that  regulation  applies  only  to  existing  documents  in  the  possession  of  the 
institution.
