Dear Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Any interactions with MEP Eva Kaili, e.g. on the topic of crypto-currencies and the Markets in Crypto Assets proposal. This request is meant to cover documents (calendar entries, e-mails, text messages, etc.) between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2022.

Regarding any possible argument that this could infringe on Ms Kaili's privacy under Regulation 1049/2001, Article 4(1)(b) and Regulation 2018/1725, I argue that the public's right to transparency (see ClientEarth and PAN Europe v EFSA) and the public interest outweighs privacy concerns in this case.

Yours faithfully,

Alexander Fanta
