Dear Council of the European Union,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
I Madeline O'Brien am requesting under the Freedom of Information Act the following documents that show the Irish government data on
1. Amount of council housing total in stock for the years 2023 and 2024
2. The amount of council housing in each county ( eg. Dublin, cork, limerick) in Ireland the total housing stock owned in each county.
I would like access to those documents in whatever format that this information is documented in from the Irish government, including links to Irish government access to these documents.
Note: I am not looking for statistics for CSO but official Irish government reports
Example below
1
Number of social homes owned by local authorities of the Irish government.
2023 the total was 39,090
2024 the total was 40,000
And
2
Number of social homes owned by local authorities by areas (31 local areas) Ireland
2023 Dublin 7,000
2024 Dublin 7,200
2023 cork 3,500
2024 cork 3.600
For all local housing authorities in Ireland
I would like the documentation in election format
Yours faithfully,
Madeline O'Brien
