List of cases - tipology
Dear European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
List of cases related to EU institutions, bodies and agencies (opened, rejected, with recommendations, transferred to national police, courts, etc).
The list should contain information by real number assigned to those cases and not only the info we can access from OLAF public reports. (i.e. case nr xx opened, case nr xx rejected, etc).
Yours faithfully,
A.J. Ross
Dear European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF),
This is an follow up on my request to access documents and information.
Yours faithfully,
A.J. Ross
Dear Mr Ross
your email of 16 October 2013 requesting access to 'documents containing list of cases related to EU institutions, bodies and agencies (opened, rejected with recommendations, transferred to national police, courts, etc)' was forwarded to me. You ask that your request be considered under Regulation 1049/2001 of the European parliament and of the council regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents.
Unfortunately, no documents exist in the form you describe, so Regulation 1049/2001 does not apply to your request.
You will be able to find some related information in the OLAF annual reports, which you find at the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/anti_fraud/about-us/...
Your request will now be examined as a request for information. Since the compiling of such information might require considerable resources, please inform us about the purpose of your request. I look forward to hearing from you on this.
Once we hear from you, our examination of your request for information will include considerations of data protection and confidentiality. If your request is found not to place a disproportionate burden on our services, we will nevertheless need some time to gather any of the disclosable information you request.
Sincerely,
European Commission
DG OLAF
