List of funded IPCEIs regarding software for the Energy Market
Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
a list of funded IPCEIs regarding the developing of software (including AI, algorithms, and/or machine learning tools) for trading and forecasting on the European energy market, be it on the intra-day and/or day-ahead level.
Yours faithfully,
Gabriele Di Donfrancesco

Dear Mr Di Donfrancesco,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding IPCEI-related decisions. We would
like to direct you to the European Commission’s IPCEI webpage, where you
can find all published IPCEI decisions:
[1]Approved IPCEIs - European Commission
In particular, the decision on the IPCEI CIS (IPCEI on Next Generation
Cloud Infrastructure and Services) is available there at the following
link:
[2]IPCEI Cloud Decision
However please note that IPCEI CIS is the only IPCEI so far that dealt
with software and it aims to develop data processing capabilities, and
software and data sharing tools that enable federated, energy-efficient
and trustworthy cloud and edge distributed data processing technologies
and related services. IPCEI CIS does not concern “software, including AI,
algorithms, or machine learning tools for trading and forecasting on the
European energy market—whether for intra-day or day-ahead levels”.
Kind regards,
