Lobby meetings 28th regime
Dear Justice and Consumers,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- All documents -including but not limited to e-mails, reports, minutes, etc. - related to meetings on the '28th regime' between external stakeholders (including companies, think tanks, consultancy firms, trade and industry associations, etc.) and unit JUST. A.3 at DG Justice.
- all correspondence including attachments (i.e. any emails, correspondence or telephone call notes) between external stakeholders (including companies, think tanks, consultancy firms, trade and industry associations, etc.) and unit JUST. A.3 at DG Justice on the '28th regime'.
The request covers the period starting from 01/09/2024.

Dear Mr Vranken,
We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 05.05.2025 under case number 2025/2488.
We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request given that your request requires the assessment of several
types of documents for a period of more than 8 months. We will not be able
to send you the reply within the prescribed time limit expiring on
27.05.2025.
Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
time limit expires on 19.06.2025.

Dear Justice and Consumers,
I'm following up on the Access to Documents request with the case number 2025/2488.
As on 19/06 the extended time-limit expired, could you please provide an update on the status of the request?
Regulation 1049/2001 states that "failure by the institution to reply within the prescribed time-limit shall entitle the applicant to make a confirmatory application".
As that time-limit has now expired, I hope to receive a reply soon.
