Dear Mr Bishop,

Following your request of 9 November 2012 for information regarding the
lobbying efforts and pressure of European Climate Foundation (ECF) on
MEP Chris Davies and MEP Graham Watson of this and the previous
legislatures, we regret to inform you that such non-official documents
are not recorded in any database of the European Parliament.

Indeed, according to Rule 104 of the EP internal rules, 'Parliament
documents' do not include documents drawn up by individual Members
unless they are tabled under the Rules of Procedure. See here:
http://www.europarl.europa.eu/aboutparli...
cedure.html

We can therefore only provide you with a "legislative footprint"
compiled by MEP Chris Davies as an explanatory note in his most recent
report on "A Roadmap for moving to a competitive low carbon economy in
2050", where you will see that ECF is listed (see p.22 of report):

However, both Mr Davies and Mr Watson have informed us that they are
willing to provide you with any information you may require on this
issue if you get in touch with their offices.

You can find their contact information here:

We would also like to inform you that after verification, the
organisation you refer to, European Climate Foundation, is registered
on the EU Transparency Register. You can find more information about
this organisation and their work in relation to the EU legislative
process here:
