Lobbying on calcium cyanamide and by Alzchem Trostberg GmbH.
Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request access to all documents relating to:
- lobbying on the substance calcium cyanamide and its proposed retriction
- lobbying on all topics by Alzchem Trostberg GmbH.
These include:
1. A list of all meetings/ discussions since 1 September 2020.
2. Any records, minutes or notes of these meetings/discussions.
3. All correspondence since 20 September 2020.
To the extent possible, my strong preference is to receive documents in electronic format.
I would also be grateful to receive the documents in batches, as soon as they are identified and available to send.
Please note that I am tabling this request separately to DG Grow, the Secretariat-General of the Commission, and the EEAS, and I look forward to receiving the respective documents accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Thank you for the clarification request.
I would be interested in lobbying on this substance by any and all chemical companies and trade associations, including CEFIC, Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V. (VCI), and of course by Alzchem Trostberg Gmb. I hope this helps. Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann

Dear [email address],
Thank you for the documents already received on 2024-0375. I have some questions and queries:
1. Please can you explain the Commission's decision-making process and timeline on the proposed restriction on calcium cyanamide. Without this information it is hard to understand whether the redactions are justified or not. Afterall I understand a Commission decision was originally planned for December 2022.
2. Also, I wondered if some documents are missing? For example, did Commissioner Breton reply to document 19? Did a meeting follow? If so, we would like to receive those documents. And document 19 also mentions that Commissioner Breton has also been approached by MEPs on this topic. I think any such emails, letters, meeting notes etc should be covered by this request.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann
Dear [email address],
