Dear Ambassador,  
 
Ahead of the European Council meeting on 20-21 October, the European steel industry is 
addressing a joint letter to all Heads of State and government of the EU28. The letter, 

signed by 58 CEOs from steel companies and associations from across the EU, covers our 
key concerns and priorities for the meeting.  
 
I would be honoured if you would be so kind as to forward this letter to the cabinet of 
your Head of State and government.
