Lobbying on REACH during 2025
Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request access to the following documents related to lobbying on the Commission's proposed revision of the REACH regulation. This should include discussion on individual topics which may or may not be included in the revision such as the registration of Polymers, the extension of the Generic Risk Management Approach (GRA), Regulatory Management Option Analysis assessments (RMOA), the Mixture Assessment Factor (MAF), and implementation of the Essential Use Concept (EUC). In particular I would like:
1. A list of all meetings/ discussions held since 1 January 2025 between officials and or Commissioners with lobby organisations where the REACH revision or associated topics were discussed.
2. Any records, minutes, preparatory briefings, or other notes of these meetings/discussions, including correspondence which set-up, or was follow-up to, these meetings. I am aware that the Commission proactively publishes minutes for some meetings, but as these are often rather sparse, I would like to receive any more detailed notes from those meetings too.
3. All correspondence since the above date, where any of these topics were raised, as exchanged between officials and or Commissioners with lobby organisations.
Please note that I am simultaneously submitting this request to DGs Grow, Environment, and the Secretariat General.
I look forward to receiving the respective documents accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
Vicky Cann
