Dear Mr. Romanowski, 
 
I am writing to you on behalf of AMG Lithium (TR: 632353948157-28), Europe's first
lithium hydroxide refinery, to request a meeting regarding the upcoming Critical
Raw Materials Act.
 
As you may know, lithium hydroxide will be an indispensable raw material and
developing a domestic refining sector will in turn be a crucial step to ensure
Europe’s backwards integration of a domestic EV/battery sector and to near-shore
the production of critical raw materials.
 
AMG is part of a larger group, which includes AMG Brasil, the operator of a
spodumene mine in Brazil. It is from here that AMG Lithium sources its raw
material for refining. When fully operational in 2030, AMG Lithium plans to refine
100,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide per year, with the first 20,000
tonnes due to come on stream in Q4 2023.
