Dear Helena, Lukas,
First let me congratulate the Commission for the deal secured in Montreal!
Thanks again Helena for the meeting we had with you earlier this month. It was very useful to be able to exchange about the
Commission’s priorities for 2023 and beyond.
As promised, I am sharing with you the briefings we prepared (with input from
) on the multiple benefits of nature
restoration actions including on food systems’ resilience. There is also one briefing focusing specifically on the funding of NRL.
I very much hope that you will find them helpful for your work and of course colleagues here remain at your entire disposal in case of
questions.
My colleague
will follow up directly with Lukas in the new year for a meeting on the upcoming SFS Law
proposal and food security.
