Dear Ms Verheecke,
We refer to your request of 14 January 2022 for access to documents under the reference
number mentioned above.
You requested access to all documents - including but not limited to correspondence
(including email and letters) containing substantive discussion relevant to the meeting
topic, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts, recordings, minutes,
notes, and meeting conclusions - relating to the meetings between President von der
Leyen and Volvo, Siemens, Maersk and Air Liquide on 17 April 2020, 30 April 2020, 19

Please note that the meeting between President von der Leyen and Volvo, Siemens,
Maersk and Air Liquide in March 2021 took place on the 29th instead of the 23rd as
suggested in your request.
You will find a copy of these documents in
annex to this letter.
Please note that in line with Article 4(1)(b) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, in
the attached documents, personal data has been redacted. In your request, you do
not put forward any arguments to establish the necessity to have such personal data
transmitted for a specific purpose in the public interest.
The minutes were drawn up for internal use under the responsibility of the relevant
Cabinet. They solely reflect the author's interpretation of the interventions made and do
not set out any official position of the third parties to which the document refers, which
were not consulted on its content. They do not reflect the position of the Commission and
cannot be quoted as such.
