Meeting lists and meeting documentation
Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. The list of all meetings, physical, virtual or on the phone, between L’Oréal representatives and Thierry Breton, commissionner, or Thierry Breton’s cabinet members since 01/01/2020;
2. All documentation, including but not limited to attendance lists, agendas, background papers, minutes/notes and email correspondence about or summarising, the following:
A. Meeting on the preparation of REACH and of the cosmetics regulation between L'Oréal representatives and Thierry Breton, Commissioner and Joan Canton, Cabinet member of Thierry Breton on 16/03/2023;
B. Meeting on the Chemicals strategy: REACH, CLP and CPR revisions between L'Oréal Representatives and Joan Canton, Cabinet Member of Thierry Breton on 09/06/2022.

We sent you this communication on the 13th of January regarding your request.
We have not yet been able to gather all the elements necessary to fulfil your request. In line with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new time limit expires on 04/02/2025.

We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 11/12/2024 under case number 2024/6895. We are currently
working on your request. However, we have not yet been able to gather all
the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of your request. As
such, we will not be able to send you the reply within the prescribed time
limit expiring on 14/01/2025, as third parties are still being consulted.
Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, we
need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new time
