Meetings and contacts with Solar Impulse Foundation
Dear Energy,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- Minutes of all meetings and exchanges between the cabinet of Kadri Simson, energy commissioner, and the Solar Impulse Foundation. This should include any phone call, meeting or video conference between M.Simson herself and any of her cabinet members since May 2019.
- Any correspondence between DG ENER and the Solar Impulse Foundation. This should include but not be limited to correspondence related to the aforementioned meetings, as well as all other email and letter exchanges. It should also include all attachments and accompanying documents contained within the correspondence.

Dear Mr Carter,
We refer to your e-mail dated 11/02/2021 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 11/02/2021 under the above mentioned
reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 04/03/2021.
An extended time limit is needed for thorough analysis as to the
availability of the document requested.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 25/03/2021.
