Meetings and Correspondence between DG Clima and Automotive industry
Dear Climate Action,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documentation (including but not limited to all email correspondence, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts, recordings and minutes/notes) relating to meetings between the entities listed below and the Commission, including CLIMA Unit C4, on 'Heavy Duty Vehicles CO2 emission standards' or in preparation for the development of the Heavy Duty Standards proposal from the last 6 months:
- Companies: Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, DAF Trucks, Volkswagen, IVECO.
- Trade Associations: European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA).
I would prefer you to produce the documents on a rolling basis, rather than waiting until the full response is ready, and I would be pleased to receive an initial list of all documents as soon as possible.

Dear Ms. Dmitriew,
We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 24.10.2022 under case number 2022/6042.
We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 16.11.2022, since the documents
requested originate from third parties, which have been consulted.
Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
