Minutes: Veolia outlined its support for the EU’s Sustainable Finance objectives
and the EU Taxonomy. They opined that waste-to-energy should be included in
the Taxonomy for non-recyclable waste. They noted the difficulties in the technical
screening criteria regarding combined heat and power under the complementary
delegated act. Lastly they asked about the role of the taxonomy in emerging
markets and for public authorities.
