CEFIC presented their concerns regarding the ongoing revision of the Classification, Labelling and
Packaging (CLP) Regulation. They shared the following key considerations from the European
Chemical industry, ahead of the next regulatory steps:
COM is not (has not) taking into account effects in all value-chain
Use of Delegated Act is “pushing the envelope” legally speaking
COM should pay attention to sequencing/relations with forthcoming “transition pathway
