Dear Climate Action,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All documents - including but not limited to correspondence, emails, minutes, preparatory materials, notes (hand written or electronic), recordings, verbatim reports, operational conclusions, lines to take, briefings, presentations, and list of attendees - relating to meetings between the cabinet members of First Vice-President Frans Timmermans and of Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra, and representatives from Guidehouse, from January 2020 to the present.

If processing the full request would be considered too burdensome, I kindly ask that you prioritise documents relating to the following meetings:

1- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Diederik Samsom, 03/02/2020, re: “European Green Deal”
2- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Aleksandra Tomczak, 29/04/2020, re: “Opportunities for reuse of existing gas infrastructure”
3- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Sarah Nelen, 11/06/2020, re: “Role of hydrogen and biomethane in climate-neutral energy sectors”

8- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Aleksandra Tomczak, 28/04/2022, re: “Hydrogen backbone and REPowerEU”
9- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Aleksandra Tomczak, 28/02/2023, re: “Hydrogen backbone”
10- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Aleksandra Tomczak, 28/03/2023, re: “Hydrogen backbone”
11- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Aleksandra Tomczak (with Gas for Climate), 18/04/2023, re: “Hydrogen backbone”
12- Between Guidehouse Netherlands B.V. and Daniel Mes, 19/03/2024, re: “Pipeline infrastructure for hydrogen transmission (with European Hydrogen Backbone)”

In consideration of the environment I would prefer to receive documents electronically.

I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis. At no point should the Commission's search for - or deliberations concerning - certain documents delay the production of others that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.

Should too many documents fall into the scope of my request, please provide me with a list of identified documents and I will identify and let you know those that I am interested in.

Yours faithfully,

Alessandro Runci
