3. Between Dan Jørgensen and Cabinet members and Equinor on 10th March 2025 to discuss Energy situation in US and Europe.

I would like to clarify that I am a Norwegian citizen, and therefore eligible under Article 2(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 to request access to European Commission documents. Could you please advise what form of evidence you would require in order to verify my nationality?

Please kindly note that in accordance with Article 2(1) and (2) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, read in conjunction with Article 1 of the European Commission’s Detailed rules for the application of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, only citizens of the Union and natural or legal persons residing or having their registered office in a Member State have the right to access to Commission documents. This means that natural and legal persons of Norway, not residing or having a registered seat in a Member State, do not benefit from the right to access Commission documents pursuant to the Regulation.
Therefore, please be informed that on the basis of your Norwegian citizenship your are not eligible to request access to documents.
Please note that if you can show proof of residence in the EU, your request would be admissible.
