  MK presented FuelEU Maritime to RR and emphasised on the technological neutrality, the 
flexibility and incentives that the proposal gives to ship operators. All the FF55 proposals are 
currently under discussion and the level of ambition is important. Discussions in IMO are 
complicated. The EU has submitted a proposal for a low-carbon fuel standard in IMO, that 
mirrors FuelEU. The aim is IMO to strive for the same level of ambition.
