Dear Kurt,
first of all thank you again for the fruitful and constructive call of last week: I think that
the approach that you exposed is the best way to proceed on SUPD guidelines.
I would like to reiterate the commitment of industries to further invest in collection
and recycling solutions, such as declared by the paper value chain industries in the
attached letter that was addressed to President Von der Leyen last December. It is a
point to which we attach the highest importance, since it can ensure legal certainty,
while supporting industry investments and competitiveness.
