Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
- All general information documents sent to new Members of the European Parliament since the new mandate in 2024 about expenses, the general expenditure allowance, the daily allowance, and the reimbursement of travel costs.
Only digital copies are required, please consider the environment by not sending me any physical mail.

Dear Mr Teffer,
We are writing in reply to your request under [1]Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 for access to general information documents sent to new Members
of the European Parliament since the new mandate in 2024 about expenses,
the general expenditure allowance, the daily allowance, and the
reimbursement of travel costs.
In light of your request, the European Parliament identified and published
on the Public Register of Documents under reference [2]EP-PE_DV(2025)0083
two Notices by the Quaestors that were sent to all Members of the European
Parliament after the start of the current tenth parliamentary term:
(i) Notice 21/2024 - Excuse for absence at plenary sittings (directly

(ii) Notice 30/2024 - General Expenditure Allowance (GEA) - Reminder of
management possibilities offered to Members (directly accessible [4]here)
Additionally, please be informed that in order to facilitate the start of
the tenth legislative term, the European Parliament welcomed Members in
its premises in a designated area called “Welcome Village”, where
necessary administrative information was provided, including on financial
and social entitlements, as concerns the application of the 'Implementing
Measures for the Statute for Members of the European Parliament' (Bureau
Decision of 11 September 2023) as published in the Official Journal and
available [5]here.
On this basis, Parliament considers your request as handled and the
procedure closed. Should you wish to submit any new requests for public
