Migration Forecasting and Predictive IT-Models
Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All methodological assessments, user manuals, internal evaluations, and procurement documents relating to the quantitative migration forecasting tools and IT-supported predictive models developed or currently used by the Frontex Risk Analysis Unit (including, but not limited to, models utilizing machine learning or Big Data to predict irregular migration flows).
All quarterly and monthly migration forecasting reports and early-warning impact assessments generated by these predictive models that were shared with EU Member States or the European Commission between January 1, 2024, and the date of this request.
Any internal guidelines or reports concerning the integration of these predictive IT-models into operational decision-making at the EU external borders.
