Money received by companies/authorities in Dorset

The request was partially successful.

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

How much money in total has been awarded to companies/authorities in Dorset, United Kingdom, from Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SME funds?

I would like the total amount over the past 5 years (from January 2011 - May 2016).

Yours faithfully,

Sam Holder

Dear Mr Holder,

Further to the email below from my colleagues dealing with access to
documents, your request has been forwarded to my unit.

In the context of our financial instruments for SMEs (we do not have
grants in this unit), the detailed information you are requesting (in all
four of your emails) is held by the European Investment Fund (EIF).  I
have contacted the EIF, which has told me that data for the period up to
March 2016 (as close as we can get to your May date) will not be available
until 30 June 2016.  This is because financial intermediaries using our
instruments have 3 months to collate and submit data.  Once received by
the EIF, we would then need additional time to analyse the data and match
the postcodes to the UK counties that you have mentioned in your emails.
This means that it would take a bit longer to reply to you than would
normally be the case.

Would this be acceptable to you or would you prefer that we analyse older
data (up to 31.12 2015) and use this as the basis for our reply?

Please note that I shall be out of office for the next two weeks after
close of business today, so I would ask you to 'Reply to All' when
responding to this message, so that my colleagues in the 'cc' section are
aware of your preference.  They will be dealing with the request while I
am away.
