Multi-Country Migration Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood - Tunisia

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Migration and Home Affairs should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information in relation to the Multi-Country Migration Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood:

1. Independent monitoring reviews that have resulted from project monitoring visits to Tunisia by either EU Commission staff or independent consultants recruited by the Commission (or recruited by the responsible agent contracted by the Commission for implementing such reviews) that have taken place so far in relation to the Multi-Country Migration Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood

2. Reports or reviews that have resulted from do-no-harm and human rights compliance assessments carried out by the independent third-party monitoring set up as part of the oversight mechanism to effectively monitor and gain regular feedbacks on the implementation of contracts under the Multi-Country Migration Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood in Tunisia

3. Reports that have resulted from mid-term, final or ex post evaluations carried out for the Multi-Country Migration Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood in Tunisia.

Where the names of EU or Tunisian officials are withheld under personal data considerations, please ensure that the commission makes clear the positions of these officials.

I would like to receive these documents electronically.

Yours faithfully,

May Bulman

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

I am yet to receive a response to this request and the deadline has long passed.

Please reply to the request. Please also conduct an internal review to find out why there has been such a delay.

Yours faithfully,

May Bulman

Dear [email address],

I can't see the response you're referring to on 2 April 2024. I received one on 3 April, but that was in response to a different request.

Please could you check which response you are referring to, and re-send it to me.

Yours sincerely,

May Bulman

Dear Ms Bulman,

Thank you for your email.
In order to avoid any confusion, could you please refer us to the EASE reference of the request for access to documents you are seeking information about?

Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,

MENA ACCDOC Team

Dear [email address],

I was never given an EASE reference for this request, because you never replied to it.

Please see the chain of correspondence above. The first response you provided (on 25 August 2025) claimed that you had already responded, but as far as I can see you hadn't. If you had responded, it should be in this chain of messages, but it isn't.

Please could you check this and let me know if you think I'm getting this wrong.

Yours sincerely,

May Bulman

Dear [email address],

No, it's not. That was a response to a different request.

This request was asking for:

I have not yet received a response to the request above.

Yours sincerely,

Dear [email address],

I am confused as I can't see the request I'm referring to in that table.

It's this one: https://www.asktheeu.org/request/multi_c...

Does that help?

Yours sincerely,

Dear Ms Bulman,

We understand you addressed this request to DG HOME (Migration and Home Affairs) on 22 December 2023. In the communication thread here https://www.asktheeu.org/request/multi_c... we see that the next communication is on 14 February 2024 whereby you asked for updates on such request and then again on 22 August 2025. We believe that your request was never registered and this the reason why there is no trace of such request in EASE as no EASE reference was attributed to it.

Would you like to have the request registered now?
Thank you
Best wishes,
