Follow up CAOBISCO/Commission meeting (January 2021) - Farm to
Fork activities expected for Q3/Q4 2021
I hope this message finds you well. Following the meeting we had in January between your team and
CAOBISCO on Farm to Fork - health and nutrition related items, I would like to ask if there are updates
on expected Farm to Fork activities for Q3/Q4 2021, in particular regarding the following topics:
Front of pack nutrition labelling
Nutrient profiles to restrict promotion of food high in salt, sugars and fats
Reformulation and setting maximum levels for certain nutrients
We are aware that EFSA opinion on FOPNL and Nutrient Profiles is expected by March 2022 and a public
consultation by end of 2021, but would you have more information on the status of the Inception
impact assessment of the FIC regulation?
