We thank you for your message regarding ESSNA's position in the context of the Commission's work on 
nutrient profiles and front-of-pack nutrition labelling. 
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to organise a meeting in the short term due to the workload of the 
team dealing with the revision of the Food Information to Consumers Regulation. 
However, we can assure you that we have taken good note of ESSNA's position, here attached, sent on 3 
February 2021 to the Commission in the context of the public feedback on the inception impact 
assessment. 
We can also inform you that during Q4 2021 a 12-week questionnaire-based, online public consultation 
on the Commission's 'Have your Say' portal will be organised, as well as a set of targeted consultation 
activities with stakeholders.
