"Open Europe Stack" / open source software
Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
As part of the initiative on Connected Collaborative Computing Networks (3C networks), the European Commission is proposing an "Open Europe Stack" as an Research and Innovation Action (RIA).
I am requesting all information available regarding the "Open Europe Stack", but I want to provide additional information to help you properly define the scope fo this request.
I am particularly interested in how this RIA came to be, this includes all input from within the Commission and its DGs, agencies and other entities as well as from third parties regarding the use of open source software.
This also means I am interested how Open Source software was addressed within the entire 3C plan, in the form of feedback, suggestions, memos, emails, presentations etc.
If a particular document can't be released just now for any of the many reasons, I want the document name and (if applicable) when the document can deemed releasable.
I am happy to provide further clarification. In the interest of a fair solution, you should provide me with any meaningful information that could help me make an informed decision how to clarify, narrow or specify this request given the information provided above.
Yours faithfully,
Mathias Schindler
