Opinion on the role of negotiator in BREXIT
Dear Legal Service,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
The opinion of the Legal Service on which institution should be the negotiator for the EU in the process of Art. 50 TEU. Obviously council and commission agree meanwhile, but according to politico.eu (dated June 2016) there has been a document in which the Legal Service gives their opinion on who should be lead negotiator, also discussing the legal arguments of the Council Legal Service.
Yours faithfully,
Jonas Bruegmann
