Dear Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

I am a non EEA national currently living outside Europe. I have got a job offer in Ireland from an Irish employer who is sponsoring me for a CSEP and a Stamp 1 visa. I am yet to sign the offer after which the employer will start the application process.

I looked on the immigration website for one specific question which I couldn't get a clear answer for. Can you please clear this up for me?

Can a person (non EEA national) who is on Stamp 1 in Ireland under CSEP, freelance part time on weekends for a foreign client alongside continuing his full time job?

Yours faithfully

Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU

Dear sir or madam,

Thank you for your email which has been forwarded to the Embassy of
Ireland from the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU.

The Embassy has no role in the issuing of Immigration Permission Stamps
once a visa has issued so is not able to answer specific queries on such
Stamps. Details of the conditionality attached to a Stamp 1 can be found
on this page:

If the answer to your query is not on this page, you may wish to contact
the immigration service in Ireland directly at:

If you reside in Belgium, information on submitting your application for a
visa can be found in the visa section of our
website: [2]https://www.dfa.ie/irish-embassy/belgium...

Kind regards,

Visa Office
