I am writing to request access to documents, emails, letters, memos (including all attachments), datasets, reports, evaluations, briefings, and analyses pertaining to the ongoing communication focused on the revision of REACH (as outlined in the European Union's Chemical Sustainability Strategy, 2020) from 1 January 2022 to the present:

1) Documents exchanged between the European Commission's Directorate-General for Growth (DG GROW) and Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV) regarding the REACH revision process.

2)Documents sent to or received from the following entities:

- Croplife Europe / European Crop Protection Association (ECPA)
- Syngenta
- Corteva (formerly DowDupont)

- BASF
- CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council)
- European Crop Care Association (ECCA)

- Any other parties acting on behalf of the above organizations or companies.

3)Documents exchanged with representatives of national governments, specifically those of Germany, Italy, and Hungary, including communications with:

- Permanent representation staff
- National ministry officials
- Other governmental representatives involved in the REACH revision process.

Please include any relevant correspondence, official submissions, internal memos, reports, or any other related materials that have been sent or received since 1 January 2022.

Dear Ms Sanchez,

We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 14/11/2024 under case number EASE 2024/6066.

We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 16/12/2024.

An extended timelimit is needed as part of the documents requested
originate from third parties and other services, which need to be
consulted;

Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
time limit expires on 17/01/2025.
