Dear Regional and Urban Policy,
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Reality Checks: Minutes and Participants Lists', case number
2025/6579.
The documents I received includes lists of participants at meetings organised by DG REGIO, however, the entities from which the participants came, have been redacted out. While it is in keeping with Regulation 1049 and the praxis of the institutions, to strike most names of persons from documents such as those, striking the names of entities (institutions, companies, associations, organisations) is not.
I therefore ask you to send me the lists of participants with the names of entities included.
Yours faithfully,
Kenneth Haar
Dear Sir,
I refer to your email of 10 February 2025, by which you lodge a confirmatory application in accordance with Article 7(2) of Regulation 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents[1] (hereafter Regulation 1049/2001).
I regret to inform you that your confirmatory application was lodged outside the applicable deadline defined in Article 7(2) of Regulation 1049/2001.
That Article provides that in the event of a total or partial refusal, the applicant may, within 15 working days of receiving the institution’s reply, make a confirmatory application asking the institution to reconsider its position.
Consequently, the Commission is not in a position to handle your application.
Yours sincerely,
