Renewable Energy Directive and the auto industry (BMW, VW, Mercedes-Benz, VDA, ACEA)
Dear Energy,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documentation (including but not limited to all email correspondence, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts, recordings and minutes/notes) relating to meetings between the entities listed below and the Commission on the Renewable Energy Directive since 2018:
- Companies: BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz (prior to 02/2022 Daimler).
- Trade Associations: European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
