Request for Access to Documents under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001
Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm writing to request access to documents under Regulation formally (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents.
1. Documents Requested
I kindly request access to all relevant correspondence and documentation concerning Ukrainian 'SENSE BANK' JSC, specifically:
a) All correspondence, including but not limited to emails, letters, and their attachments;
b) Records of telephone conversations;
c) Notes of meetings (handwritten or electronic);
d) Drafts, memos, invitations, appointments, cancellations;
e) Attendance lists, agendas, background papers;
f) Audio or video recordings;
g) Verbatim reports, operational conclusions;
h) Briefings and presentations.
2. Time Frame
The requested documents should cover the period from 1 January 2022 to the present date.
3. Parties Involved
The scope of this request includes, but is not limited to, communications involving:
a) DG FISMA (Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union);
b) Ukrainian authorities, including the National Bank of Ukraine;
c) European authorities.
4. Scope of Information
I request any information DG FISMA holds concerning Ukrainian 'SENSE BANK' JSC, including but not limited to discussions about its operations, financial status, regulatory compliance, or any other relevant matters.
5. Public Interest
There is a compelling public interest in disclosing this information, as it would significantly enhance public scrutiny and transparency regarding the operations and oversight of financial institutions and their interactions with Ukrainian entities.
6. Partial Access
If some parts of the requested documents fall under the exceptions listed in Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, we respectfully request the release of non-exempt parts in accordance with Article 4(6) of the Regulation.
7. Time Frame for Response
In line with Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, I anticipate receiving your response within 15 working days of registering this request. Should an extension be necessary, please inform us in advance, providing reasons for the delay and the revised deadline.
8. Format of Documents
I request that the documents be in electronic format, preferably PDF.

On 26 August 2024, I submitted a request for Access to Documents to the Financial Stability, Financial Services, and Capital Markets Union.
On the same day, I received confirmation from the Transparency Unit of the Secretariat-General of the European Commission, stating that my request had been received and that a reply would be provided within 15 working days.
I later received another confirmation acknowledging receipt of my request, registered under case number 2024/4421.
However, I have not yet received any response to my request.
Could you kindly verify whether my request has been processed and provide me with the corresponding response?

We are writing concerning your confirmatory request for access to
Commission documents for case 2024/4421 registered on 18 October 2024.
We are currently working on your confirmatory request. However, we have
not yet been able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full
analysis of your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within
the prescribed time limit expiring on 11 November 2024 due to the
complexity of the file.
Therefore, in line with Article 8(2) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 we
