Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,

Pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 on public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents and Frontex’s applicable public-access procedures, I hereby request access to the following documents and records:

All records of direct communications (including but not limited to e-mails, instant messages, telephone logs, call summaries, meeting minutes, push-to-talk transcripts, radio logs, and any written notes or memos) exchanged between Frontex (including Frontex staff, contractors and on-mission personnel) and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Tripoli or any other Libyan maritime coordination entity on 24 August 2025 and 26 September 2025.

For each communication, please provide:
- exact date and time (UTC);
-sending and receiving party (name, role and organisational affiliation; if personal names are withheld, please indicate role/title and unit);
-communication medium (e-mail, telephone, radio, AIS relay, Joint Operations Centre log, etc.);
-the full content of the communication (or an unredacted copy); if redaction is claimed necessary, provide a version with minimal redaction and a justification for each redaction citing the specific legal basis;
-any internal Frontex covering notes, internal assessments, or decision memos referring to or created as a result of these communications.

Any internal incident reports, situation reports (SITREPs), operational logs or briefings generated by Frontex on those two dates that refer to the communication(s) with JRCC Tripoli or to the incidents involving the Ocean Viking and Sea-Watch 5.

Preferred format: searchable PDF or original electronic files (e-mail format .eml/.msg preferred for e-mails).
Timeframe searched: 00:00 UTC — 23:59 UTC on 24 August 2025 and 26 September 2025 (and any immediate follow-up communications within 24 hours after each date).
Disclosure: I request disclosure in full. If any part must be withheld, I ask that redactions be narrowly applied and accompanied by specific legal grounds and reasons. I am willing to accept partial disclosure and to receive documents progressively.

Please confirm receipt of this request and advise the expected date of reply in accordance with Regulation 1049/2001. If you intend to refuse any part of this request, please provide the legal basis and reasoning as required by the Regulation.
