We refer to your message of 30 January 2026 submitted to the European
Investment Bank (EIB) via the AsktheEU.org platform requesting access to
the rail prioritisation strategy prepared for the Irish Department of
Transport (the “initial application”).

We also refer to your follow up message of 02 March 2026 and to our
acknowledgement of receipt of 03 March 2026 where we informed you that
your initial application did not reach the EIB, which was due to an IT
filtering issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please note
that your request has been treated as an initial application under the EIB
Group Transparency Policy (EIB-TP)[1]^^[1], which applies to such requests
addressed to the EIB.

We would like to inform you that that the Rail Project Prioritisation
Strategy was published by the Irish government on 15th December 2025. It
