Start slapping fines to european mobile carriers instead of Google.
Dear European Council,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
For too long have mobile carriers dictated what version of an android device gets updated here. People should be able to use their phone in the US and Europe and they should be able to get monthly security patches to the android OS without having to wait for a mobile carrier like Orange to release it when they choose to.
