State aid to air carriers awarded by Teesside International Airport
Dear Sirs
Under 364(8) of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement the UK agreed to regulate subsidies to air carriers, including meeting transparency requirements.
However Teesside International Airport has repeatedly given air carriers large subsidies, but chosen not to declare these or refer these to the independent body created under 371 of the Agreement.
