Stop the massive human trafficking to the Canary Islands
Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
As neighbors in the Canary Islands of Gran Canaria, we see thousands of illegal immigrants arriving on our shores. Endangering the existence of the weal tourism business that survived the Covid crisis. They come in big mother ships that take them close to cost, drop them off. This can be seen daily on this website: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/hom....
The Spanish government is ignoring the evidence, causing enormous damage to our weak tourism industry. We urgently request Frontex activation. The solution seems simple, if they stop the big ships of high value traffic, this would soon be over. We know the names of the ships. Once again, the Spanish Government does not offer any solution that denies the evidence, and does not request much-needed European assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Oliver
