Dear European Parliament,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain information related to the trialogues on the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down measures concerning the European single market for electronic communications and to achieve a Connected Continent (the "Telecommunications Single Market Regulation" or "TSM"), including:

- list of participants of the trialogues
- list of the categories of documents held in relation to the trialogues on the TSM, technical meetings, European Parliament's internal meetings and shadows meetings
- three- and four-column documents
- reports
- minutes
- notes

Also, I would be grateful if you could provide the agreed rules of procedure for this particular process.

Dear Ms Fernández,

Further to your request submitted to the European Parliament under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 on 18 June 2015 regarding public access to documents held by the institution in connexion with the currently pending codecision procedure on the Telecommunications Single Market Regulation, we would like to inform you that your request is under consideration.

Please be aware that your application might concern a very large number of documents, whose identification by part of the competent parliamentary services is still in process.

Moreover, as far as your request for multicolumn tables is concerned, please note that the joint nature of these documents, as recognised by Parliament's Rules of Procedure, requires Parliament to launch the necessary consultation with Council and Commission, pursuant Article 4(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.

In consideration of the need to allow adequate time for the identification of documents possibly falling within the scope of your request and the conclusion of the above-mentioned consultation procedure under Article 4(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, Parliament is obliged to extend the deadline for processing your reply by further 15 working days, in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.

Thus, the new deadline expires on 31 July 2015.

Parliament apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and remain at your disposal for further information and/ or clarification(s).
