Europe Direct Contact Centre,

Dear Ms Skuja,

Thank you for contacting the Europe Direct Contact Centre.

We have consulted the Directorate General for Human Resources. Please find
below the answer to your question.

"Our services do not communicate personal data to external parties.

As regards the 2nd general question on British colleagues who are
officials,  the College adopted a decision on 19 January 2021,
implementing the commitment taken by the previous College on 28 March
2018. Point 12 of the decision states:

statut ;

Translation of the Point 12 in English (as the original document is in
French and accessible only internally):

12. HR - COMMISSION DECISION NOT TO REQUIRE THE RESIGNATION OF OFFICIALS
WHO NO LONGER FULFIL THE CONDITION OF BEING NATIONALS OF ONE OF THE MEMBER
STATES DUE TO THE WITHDRAWAL OF THE UNITED KINGDOM FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION
AND THE END OF THE TRANSITIONAL PERIOD

The Commission has decided to :

* to withdraw, in this particular case, the delegation conferring on the
Director-General for Human Resources and Security the power to adopt
decisions under Article 49 of the Staff Regulations and, consequently,
to exercise itself the power to adopt decisions under Article 49 of
the Staff Regulations;
* not to use its discretionary power under Article 49 of the Staff
Regulations to dismiss officials who no longer fulfil the statutory
condition of being a national of one of the Member States of the Union
as a result of the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European
Union. These decisions take effect immediately."

We hope you find this information useful. Please contact us again if you
have other questions about the European Union, its activities or
institutions.
