What is the EU's definition of "Temporary"

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Taskforce on Article 50 negotiations with the United Kingdom should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Taskforce on Article 50 negotiations with the United Kingdom,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1. The EU's definition of the word "Temporary" as discussed in https://ec.europa.eu/commission/sites/be... .

2. The proposed staffing arrangements for the taskforce/department which would manage the "Temporary customs arrangement" .

I would add that I have reviewed the documents listed on the following page https://ec.europa.eu/info/jobs-european-.... They suggest that the Commission may view "temporary" as meaning 1 to 3 years?

Yours faithfully,

Paul Mc Crory
