THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the
Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union,
amending Regulations (EU) No 1296/2013, (EU) No 1301/2013, (EU) No 1303/2013, (EU)
No 1304/2013, (EU) No 1309/2013, (EU) No 1316/2013, (EU) No 223/2014, (EU) No
283/2014, and Decision No 541/2014/EU and repealing Regulation (EU, Euratom) No
966/2012 (hereafter the ‘EU Financial Regulation’)1, and in particular Article 200(6) thereof,
Whereas:

In the framework of Regulation (EU) No 1291/2013 of the European Parliament and
of the Council establishing Horizon 2020 – The Framework Programme for Research
and Innovation (2014-2020)2, in accordance with the Work Programme 2018-20203,
the Master call H2020-SU-DS-2018-2019-2020; deadline model H2020-SU-DS-2019,
was published on 14 March 2019 – with deadline for submission by 22 August 2019.

An evaluation was carried out pursuant to the applicable rules.
(3)
Following this evaluation (and having regard to the available budget), a call ranked list
was drawn up with the proposals to be invited to grant preparation.
(4)
Grant preparation was concluded and the verifications on admissibility, eligibility,
double funding, operational and financial capacity, non-exclusion and ethics and
security (if any) were passed successfully.
(5)
This Decision concerns the successful proposals which – under Article 5(7) of the
Horizon 2020 Specific Programme Decision – require a Commission award decision
in
mode décisionnel.
(6)
Such decisions have been delegated by Commission Decision C(2014)70464 of 1
October 2014 to the Director-General(s) that are competent for implementing the
relevant part of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
Since – under Commission Decision C(2014)7046 – such award decisions are not
delegated to the executive agencies, the Decision must be taken by the Director
of
their parent-DG.
The following services will be competent for the budget implementation:

In accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 5(7) of the H2020 Specific
Programme Decision,
the programme committee
was consulted on the proposals that
should be funded. The measures provided for in this Decision are in accordance with
the opinion of this programme committee.
(8)
As a result, the proposals listed in the Annex should be funded,
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Sole Article
The proposals listed in the Annex are awarded a grant, for the maximum amounts set out in
that Annex.
